Best Psychology Themed Halloween Costumes

It's the time of the year for all things spooky and fun, and we want to give you the best psychology related costumes we could think of. Please note some of these we found on other blogs, some of these we made ourselves. I'd post the link, but I've done enough APA citations lately.

A Freudian Slip

This one is too good. All you need is a slip and a sharpie and you're good to go.

Wire Mom and Cloth Mom

We all know about Harlow's surrogate experiment. Please note that you cannot steal babies to complete the costume (It's unethical!)

Jailer and Prisoner from the Stanford Experiment

Please, if this is the costume you pick with your friend - choose who the officer is VERY CAREFULLY.

The Selective Attention/Invisible Gorilla Experiment

Oh PSYCH 1X03, how I miss you.

The Marshmallow from the Marshmallow Test

Can you wait 5 minutes before eating all the candy you got for the trick-or-treaters?

That Ugly Rat from the Little Albert Experiment

Please only do this one if you don't have a child you could traumatize with your costume.

Pavlov's Dog

The bell is necessary. Maybe you can condition your friends for Halloween this year!
